The city is also an excellent gastronomic hub. The restaurants in B\u00fazios offer everything from delicious and fresh seafood to dishes with extremely refined and elaborate ingredients. While the stars of the day are the sun and the sea, at dusk the focus of tourists changes completely. It&#8217;s time to try some of the best delicacies in the Lakes Region. Get ready to recharge your batteries at the tables of one of B\u00fazios&#8217; restaurants.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>B\u00fazios is also a paradise when it comes to good food, bringing together French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish restaurants&#8230; Each one offers typical flavors and delicacies for the most demanding and varied palates. The reason for this diversity is the large number of foreigners who came to spend a few days in the seaside resort, fell in love and stayed here.<\/p>\n<p>From their origins, they brought the spices and secrets that enhance seafood dishes \u2013 fish are the mainstay of local cuisine, after all, B\u00fazios began as a fishing village and is surrounded by beaches on all sides.<\/p>\n<p>At dinner time, the traditional address for restaurants is downtown: Rua das Pedras and its continuation \u2013 Orla Bardot, a beautiful stretch that goes all the way to Praia dos Ossos, the birthplace of the town of B\u00fazios.<\/p>\n<p>During the day, the tip is to nibble at the kiosks and bars scattered along the beaches. Most offer portions of fresh shrimp and squid, as well as full meals, such as moquecas and lobsters. Among the beaches that offer the best infrastructure for dining are Praia da Tartaruga, Praia de Gerib\u00e1 and Praia Jo\u00e3o Fernandes, with several kiosks and restaurants on the seafront.<\/p>\n<p>Leaving the center, an excellent alternative is Porto da Barra, a space attached to the fish market in Manguinhos. Set on a wooden deck between the beach and the mangrove swamp, bars, restaurants, decoration shops and studios are spread throughout this pleasant location \u2013 perfect for sunset or nighttime visits. It is an excellent alternative to escape the hustle and bustle of Rua das Pedras.<\/p>\n<p>The charming Porto da Barra in Manguinhos also offers a variety of options, some facing the beach, for a delicious post-beach lunch. Among them is Bar dos Pescadores, famous for its shrimp pastries and moquecas, such as the one called namorado.<\/p>\n<p>Almost next door to the port is Espa\u00e7o Domme, a beach-style decoration complex that brings together restaurants serving Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine.<\/p>\n<p>Also in Manguinhos, Shopping Aldeia da Praia is a great option for a snack, lunch or dinner. There are the pioneers Gr\u00e3o Culin\u00e1ria Vegetariana Natural, with quiches, crepiocas, teas, juices, whole-grain snacks and delicious light meals; and the Clube da Esfiha, with a lean and tasty menu.
