B\u00fazios is famous for its beautiful beaches and for having been a favorite of Brigitte Bardot in the 1960s. Located on the northern coast of the state of Rio de Janeiro, on the Costa do Sol, there is an unfair reputation that the city offers expensive attractions. It is one of the best places in B\u00fazios to watch the sunset, date, chat, reflect, or simply feel at peace.<\/p>\n

Porto da Barra is where the B\u00fazios fish market is located, as well as a gastronomic hub, with bars and restaurants and an art gallery. However, it is not necessary to eat in any of these places to enjoy the nature and well-being that the place offers.<\/p>\n

In the 1960s, Rua das Pedras was just a dirt path leading to the sea. The stones were added ten years later, allowing cars to pass through and people to walk around the area more easily. Just stopping by is worth it, since, in addition to the decoration with the stones on the ground and the lighting of the place, which seems to transport the walker to a projected scene, there is a delightful breeze coming from the sea.<\/p>\n

In addition to the landscape, you can take a photo with the statue of Brigitte Bardot, who fell in love with B\u00fazios in the 1960s, making the city known to the world and popularizing the region.<\/p>\n

Also located on Orla Bardot is the sculpture Os Tr\u00eas Pescadores, which, when seen from a distance, really gives the impression of there being people in the sea, as it is extremely realistic. When the tide is low, visitors can get closer and take photos with the \u201cfishermen\u201d. The men in the sculpture represent the former residents of the coast.<\/p>\n

Completing the set of sculptures on Orla, there is also a statue of former President Juscelino Kubitschek, who was a regular visitor to the region.<\/p>\n

From there, however, it is possible to take a very quick walk to Ferradurinha beach, which is the opposite of the hustle and bustle, with very calm waters, where you can even practice diving and a \u201cpool-like\u201d sea, great for taking children.<\/p>\n
